Studio Truly Truly
Was very happy to be asked by my friends from Studio Truly Truly to create a portrait film around their latest lighting piece: Big Glow.
Big Glow is a sculptural light that captures the essence of the Australian sun and the warmth of European interiors – a poetic reflection of their journey from Australia to the Netherlands. Crafted from Australian wool by innovative Australian lighting brand Rakumba Lighting, in association with The Woolmark Company.
I directed the Dutch part of the film, shot in lovely Dordrecht, captured beautifully by DoP Lars van der Put.
The lamp just made its debut at Salone del Mobile in Milan, and it’s been fantastic to see it resonate so well on an international stage.
